Having worked in financial services for 34 years, I feel justified in calling myself a seasoned professional! My background includes having worked as a Financial Adviser as well as holding a number of management positions. With such strong industry knowledge and professional training, I’m able to support my team by making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, leaving them to concentrate on doing what they all do best – looking after their clients.

When I set-up Octagon Financial Services in 2012 I knew the key to success would be to surround myself with a team who shared my values; not people who simply paid lip-service to them, but who live and breathe them. And that’s exactly what I have. We all believe in putting the customer first and for us this means we always do what’s right, not what’s easy.

I’ve been married to my wife Sarah for 36 years and have a daughter, Rebecca. I enjoy the sport of horse racing, and I have been able to take a small, vested interest in the sport by purchasing through a syndicate a number of flat racing horses which is a fantastic way to get really involved in and thoroughly enjoy the sport. I’m also a huge Leeds United fan and have supported them for over 52 years!
